Shiba Inu blacklists user for drawing hate symbol with metaverse land

In a statement released late Tuesday by Shiba Inu (SHIB) Metaverse developers, the user’s wallet address appears to have been blacklisted for drawing a swastika using the project’s Metaverse lands. Shiba Inu’s team wrote:

“SHIB: Metaverse will place recognition [hate symbol] Violating the blacklist means it can never participate in any and all areas of the platform. “

The ordeal began on April 12 with the launch of the Shiba Inu Metaverse land sale, with around 36,000 of the 100,000 lots up for grabs. Through, crypto enthusiasts locked in LEASH (Ecosystem Token) and Shiboshi non-fungible tokens can bid for Metaverse land in square plots at prices ranging from 0.2 to 1.0 Ether (ETH) per block. Every time a user bids on a piece of land, it changes the color from “gray” to “black” when viewed from the map.

However, on April 15, members of the Shiba Inu Discord community discovered that a malicious user was bidding for land in a swastika formation. However, when the news broke, SHIB holders quickly pocketed and started bidding on the land around the symbol (thus obscuring its color) until it eventually took the shape of a “window”.

It seems most SHIB enthusiasts support the developer’s decision to block malicious users and create a more receptive and positive community. Twitter user “DMCREDI” wrote:

“No landslides…[regarding the ban] This is their house and they will choose the acceptable language like our own family. simple. “
